Paper Planes - A simplistic yet enjoyable game for the C64 as a port by Arlasoft

Arlasoft is another developer which has been mentioned a number of times on Indie Retro News , as he has created enjoyable games such as Pillars, Galaxian, Galaga, Fast Food and even Taz. Well here we are with another Arlasoft developed game, as he has just released the C64 game of 'Paper Planes'; A slightly enhanced power up C64 port of the casual game by Sam Demaine which was originally released via the Ludum Dare Competition late last year.

According to the game description : You must collect as many yellow tokens as possible while steering left and right to avoid the ever-increasing number of coloured enemy planes that are flying about the screen.  Enemy planes follow the same path as you, with the exception that unlike you they cannot wrap around from one side of the screen to the other and will instead turn around. This means you can try different strategies to manipulate enemy movements or simply rely on quick reflexes to steer clear of trouble and hope to find the nearest power up.
