RCross - A 2021 competition winner for the PC gets an Amiga port by BSzili (68040/68060)

BSzili has been mentioned a number of times on Indie Retro News, as not only did he release the Amiga port of Blake Stone Aliens of Gold, but he also made available Exhumed / Powerslave, Wolfenstein 3D, BLOOD and even Shadow Warrior. Well here are with another BSzili update, as he has now made available the PC to Amiga port of RCross; a racing game originally created by Franticware for the #hvdosdev2021 competition at https://www.high-voltage.cz where it won the first place. To coincide with this news story Saberman has also done a video of the game which can be viewed below.

According to BSzili, you control a small RC car on various terrains and must race against the allotted time. Frca kindly agreed to share the source code, so it became a nice weekend project to get it running on the Amiga. The original game needs an 486 DX with 8 MB RAM, and the Amiga version has similar requirements. To play it you'll need a 68040 or 68060 with an FPU, 8 MB Fast RAM, AGA chipset or RTG.
