The Curse of Rabenstein - High grade graphical text adventure gets a C64 40th Anniversary (Point and Click) Edition!

If you fancy loading up a bit of horror this weekend, then make sure to check out the latest 40th Anniversary (Point and Click) Edition of The Curse of Rabenstein by Stefan Vogt for the C64. A new edition of a game that was previously mentioned sometime back as a graphical text command based game for the C64, Plus/4, CPC, ZX Spectrum (+3, ESXDOS, Next), Amiga, Atari ST, DOS and PC. To coincide with this news not only can you download the game below, but Saberman will be doing a video at some point later today!

Welcome to the the anticipated C64 40th Anniversary (Point and Click) Edition of Rabenstein; A game that features not just mouse or joystick play which differs significantly from the parser driven original game, but wonderful SID tunes by René aka Peacemaker, development and translation by Sönke Wolfgramm which can also be played in German, lots of locations to visit that are highly detailed, and finally all of this as a great homage honoring the heritage of the Commodore 64 that turns 40 this year.

  1. This version is actually much worse. Interface & controls took a hit and the thing is pretty much unusable. Stick to the text version.
