Mort & Phil - An Amiga game that pays tribute to the late master Francisco Ibañez Talavera

While we have featured this game a little while ago, today's the day that Mort & Phil, a game developed by Amiga Factory using the REDPILL engine has been updated with a new OCS build. This title serves as a heartfelt tribute to the legendary cartoonist Francisco Ibáñez Talavera (1936–2023), the creator of the iconic comic duo. The project is an adaptation of a 2006 mobile game originally crafted by M-solutions and B.R.B. Internacional, which achieved global reach across more than fifty countries and five continents.

AGA version

Depending on where you grew up, you might recognize these characters by their many international names, such as Clever & Smart or Flip & Flap in Germany, Paling & Ko in the Netherlands, and Mortadelo e Salaminho in Brazil and Portugal. They are also known as Flink och Fummel in Sweden, Mortadella e Filémone in Italy, Dörtgöz ve Dazlak in Turkey, and Mortadelo and Filemón in their native Spain

Mort & Phil by Amiga Factory delivers a clever blend of adventure, strategy, disguises, and signature humour as players set out to rescue the kidnapped Superintendent. You can control either Mortadelo or Filemón and freely swap between them at any point during the mission to overcome specific obstacles. The gameplay requires switching strategically, as certain challenges demand Mortadelo's unique array of costumes, while other trials are custom-tailored for Filemón’s distinct traits.
