They Came From the Sky 2 - An Amiga "Walker" inspiration is coming to Steam (Early Access)

FobTi interactive have informed us about the announced early access of their latest game 'They Came From the Sky 2'; an action packed arcade game that is a sure fire nod to the Amiga game of Walker'. In development for the PC through Steam, the developer tells us that this is a highly-addictive and fast paced game wherein you take the role of one of the giant Alien robot with one and only one Mission...Make a giant delicious juicy Human smoothy! To coincide with this news, you can view the latest early access footage below, and watch all the blasting gory bits that harks back to the Walker.


Based on a true story from the future *Apparently*, They Came From the Sky 2 will feature, an excellent Family Alien friendly coffee-break game, is inspired by the legendary game from Amiga: Walker, has simple controls and pure arcade action, infinite replayability as you chase ever higher scores, plenty of delicious humans to abduct, over 20 brutal enemy types like: Grandpa, Skateboard Kid, or disabled person on Wheelchair, 50 Human hidden Artifacts waiting to be discovered, unlockable New Weapons and special abilities in the Tech-Lab, handcrafted pixel graphics created with love, great music by Kevin MacLeod and much much more.

  2. Walker is a strict one-direction only horizontal shooter. This game may seem to borrow a bit from that, but it is really inspired by Defender and most notably Rampage: World Tour. (that's what a developer told me at least)
