Classic NES game 'Duck Hunt' has been released on the C64!

We always try to keep you up to date with the best in C64 news, but boy do we have a surprise for you. As if you've ever had a Nintendo and a Light Gun, then you'll be pleased to know Mahna Mahna has released the classic NES game of ' Duck Hunt ' over to the Commodore 64; a game that first appeared at the Transmission64 3rd Edition (2022) event. In light of this news, not only can you download the game right now, but there's also a new gameplay video done by Saberman earlier today.

Duck Hunt has always been a great game to play and it became a classic many years ago. Now, Duck Hunt can be enjoyed by everyone who has a Commodore 64. If you never played this game back in the day, Duck Hunt is all about shooting ducks. Aim your target correctly but don't just fire blindly because it wont just be the dog laughing at you, but with all the shots fired and missed you'll run out of ammo and you'll fail the hunt. So good luck duck hunters, as this is a great game to have on your C64!
  •  We've been informed it has mouse and light gun support!

  5. Is it just a coincidence that Duck Hunt RTX just came out as well? Or is this a glitch in the matrix? Hmmm...

  6. It is a bit weird that only after all these years I'm kinda confused about a game like that ever making it to a nintendo platform in the 80s. Like, they take issue with the slightest show of a nipple, but violence was fair game, and apparently, "killing ducks to make you smile", too. XD Kinda ... I don't know. Getting hungry now. Where's my roast duck. Don't judge my sense of humor :3.

    1. aye, and it was basically a remake of their own 1976 non-video game they made that used a projector or something.

    2. Why's that dog look kinda flirty on the loading screen? lol. What's he planning to do with the ducks?

  7. Is the C1351 mouse supported? The port of Operation Wolf did and it made a world of difference compared to the experience of playing with a joystick
