Darkland 2 - Another Halloween game makes an appearance on the C64

As Halloween is nearly here and those dark nights are drawing in, you'd expect lots of creepy horror games to come out to really make the day that little bit more special. Well one such team has released their scary game for Halloween, and it's Psytronik's latest release of Darkland 2; A horror game in which you must survive this unholy night by defeating monsters and their evil offspring that lurk in the shadows. To coincide with this new release from Psytronik, Saberman has done a video showing the game being played.

Here's the latest from the itch io page. "The controls guide the player character, and a flashlight that illuminates the ground ahead. Press fire to use the gun. Gunfire will only strike an illuminated spot, or at close point-black range near the player character. If you let the monsters or their firepower hit the player character you will lose a life. A bonus life is awarded for every 10,000 points! As for the credits, the game was created by Alf Yngve, Martin Piper & Richard Bayliss".

  1. Excellent, I really liked the atmosphere that the game gives. This game played in the dark when I was 10 years old would have been incredible. Low background music would have been perfect. Very well done.
