While I'm not a fan of redpill developed games, especially with them being rather slow and clunky. One game however that looks worth a play, and surprisingly isn't clunky, is Tecniman's work in progress Commodore Amiga AGA red pill developed game of 'SwitcherBoy'. A game in which you must not only avoid the enemies spread throughout the level, but you are tasked with flipping switches for the exit to open, before the time runs out. To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest game play footage.
And here's the latest about the game from the Aminet website. " Entry for AmigaWave and Posadas Party 2025. SwitcherBoy is a work-in-progress game developed for AGA-based Amiga systems with some fast RAM, aiming for broader compatibility with ECS/OCS setups in the future. The game is designed to perform well even on modest configurations.
- Developed using the Redpill engine, graphics adapted from public domain resources and an original soundtrack composed by Fermix.
- Special thanks to the testers who helped polish the game across different setups: Tolkien, Jorger, Zener, Daphy, and PolloHacker.
- And of course, a heartfelt thank you to Daphy, responsible for both the translation and cultural adaptation of the game into English and Dutch.
