Tony Montezuma’s Gold - A fantastic platformer by Monochrome Productions has arrived on the Amstrad CPC as a demo!

We've recently been informed by both Saberman and Xenomorph, that the highly enjoyable game of Tony - Montezuma's Gold by Monochrome Productions. Which was previously released for the Amiga, AtariXL, Commodore 64 and as a preview for the ZX Spectrum. Has appeared as a demo on the Amstrad CPC. A game that I feel it would be right at home on a classic Macintosh with monochrome graphics! As ever, has provided below is the video showing some early footage of this game by Rafal Dudek, Bartłomiej Kseniak and Adam Gilmore.



And here's the latest details from the website. "Embark on a pixelated journey inspired by Tony Halik, the real-life Polish explorer and filmmaker whose adventures spanned continents and decades. He was exploring ancient civilisations for NBC, Tony's love of discovery knew no bounds. Now it's your turn to step into Tony's digital shoes and unravel the mysteries of Montezuma's Castle in this nostalgic 8-bit homage".

  2. The game is very good, it has a fresh look and is a type of game rarely seen in CPC, perhaps more accustomed to the colors, good work by the team

  3. The game has a very different look to what we are used to in CPC, using the colorful mode 0, but it is very good and entertaining, the music accompanies perfectly, not in vain it is composed by Adam Gilmore
