Another banger of a weekend news story for you all! As looking through the C64/C128 Facebook group earlier today, I've just found out that the team behind the incredible C64 game called 'A Pig Quest', is working on a sequel that may be called 'Another Pig Quest - The Last Pig'. This game which is still in development, will not only be a horizontal scrolling platformer but, according to Alain Mauricet, will also feature isometric levels as well. As Alain Mauricet puts it "It's thanks to Antonio Savona, our coding genius."
While details have been lacking and we've had no contact from the team behind the game. A Pig Quest 2 not only looks to be an incredible action platformer, but this will feature isometric levels, many different themed areas with gorgeous C64 details, a brilliant situational SID soundtrack, dangerous foes to battle, and all of this which is set to make it another hit with the C64 community. So yes if you have a Commodore 64 or Commodore 128, this is one game you'll want to keep an eye on, as developments progress.

ReplyDeleteWow! I was expecting another similar game with the same engine, but they've flipped the script and gone isometric - with great effect. It looks gorgeous! Easily another day one purchase, the first game was great. Excited to see this develop!

At first I thought the isometric image showed an explosion. Then when I read the caption, it turned out to be a tree.
