Atlantis - Atari 2600 fixed shooter ported to the ZX Spectrum

Saberman is on the ball again as earlier today he contacted us, to let us know that Luca Bordoni had released a ZX Spectrum port of an Atari 2600 game called ' Atlantis '. Now if you've not heard of this game before considering how old this game is, then you might be interested to know that Atlantis is a fixed shooter video game released by Imagic in July 1982, developed by Dennis Koble who also wrote Trick Shot, Solar Storm, and Shootin' Gallery for Imagic

Competition Karate - 1980s karate simulator fixed and preserved on C64

Competition Karate is a simulation game written by Edward Badasov and ported to Commodore computers by Malcolm Low and Michael Sokolewicz. It received a commercial release by Motivated Software in 1984, and has just been released for the first time as a digital download on CSDB. As well as the usual training modes, the game has had some rework including bug fixes and detailed documentation, which you'll definitely need to get the most out of this game.

Modulot - An unusual brain basher for C64 users

You may have wondered why there has been a lack of news lately, that's once again down to health issues, so i'll try my best to keep you up to date on any new games that have come out or will be coming out soon. So putting that aside the first game for mention is a brand new game by Atlantis for the C64, that's called Modulot, which if you were any good at Maths at school will sure to be an easy task to play.

The Bard's Tale C64 - An Easyflash Cartridge RPG Release!

The Bard's Tale: Tales of the Unknown has been released as a CRT download suitable for installing on an Easyflash cartridge for the Commodore 64. This classic tile-based RPG is regarded as one of the founding fathers of the genre, and is still extremely playable. Even more so, now, as this Atlantis release has fixed the cumbersome multi-load format of the original cassette and disk versions. As well as adding new features such as extensive documentation including a handy map of "Skara Brae" (the main town where you start), German and English localisation, a new main menu with quick access to the Party creator, training modes and the game's first sound track which you can hear while reading the docs.

Lumberjack - Chop down a tree as fast as you can in this C64-Amiga conversion!

Last year via the CSDb database, the Megastyle, Protovision & Atlantis group released the C64 homebrew game of ' Lumberjack ', which put you in the mighty boots of a Lumberjack chopping down a tree as fast as he can, without being bashed by the big branches above. It was a charming little game with a bit of comedy mixed in which was met with positive comments such as this game is highly addictive. So if you've played it and would rather experience it on the Amiga, now you can, as Cobe and Lemming880  has done a fan made conversion tested on both an A500 and A1200.

Motorman - Atlantis's Excitebike clone for the C64

Here's some interesting news for fans of the NES classic Excitebike. A playable preview of a C64 clone called Motorman developed by Dr. Strange of Atlantis and Propaganda Magazine has just been released.

Jump Ninja +3H [pal/ntsc] - A frustrating play of Wanax's new C64 preview gets an update

We have already mentioned this C64 preview some time back and it was one of the most frustrating Flappy Bird style clones that I had played for some time. Just like Flappy, timing is everything, and if you're not accurate you have to restart. This is ' Jump Ninja'  +3H [PAL/NTSC] which was developed for his son Francesco hoping this might be a game to attract a new generation of C64 users. Unlike the previous version, Atlantis & Fantastic 4 Cracking Group have now added +3 trainers, a high-score saver and given the game an NTSC fix by Dr.Science.

Jump Ninja - A frustrating play of Wanax's new C64 preview

Another C64 release to mention, and this one was released last week, is Wanax's new C64 game preview of ' Jump Ninja ', that has been scene supplied and trained by Atlantis and the Fantastic 4 Cracking Group. What plays like a really frustrating Flappy Bird clone as in timing is everything and if you're not accurate you have to restart, Jump Ninja was developed for his son Francesco hoping this might be a game to attract a new generation of C64 users.

Twister - Public domain Tetris for the C64!

Originally released in 1988 by Shane Broadberry as a public domain Tetris for the Commodore 64, has just been cracked by Atlantis & Fantastic 4 Cracking Group. Enabling some extra cheats over the original, this isn't a bad clone of the classic hit as you move blocked shapes around with the aim of creating a horizontal line of ten blocks without gaps. What really adds to the game though is the great intro which has been added by the recent releasers.

Rocky Memphis Preview 2 +1M - Arcade platformer preview for C64

Atlantis & Fantastic 4 Cracking Group have released the latest homebrew arcade platformer for C64. Titled "Rocky Memphis Preview 2 +1M" or to be precise "Rocky Memphis and the Temple of Ophuxoff"; is a platformer that has you exploring a temple, collecting items and avoiding enemies. The game is incredibly difficult with precise timing needed and has a really good sound track. Although it's not a bad game, it does suffer from background collision as it can stop you from jumping too high or not being able to climb certain ropes. Still though, it's worth a play right now on your C64!
