Bomberland - Classic game as a clone for the C64!

When I was growing up there was a game I used to love playing with friends, whereby your task was to drop bombs and either blow up other enemies or your very best friend(s) in a maze like game screen. That game was Bomberman also known as Dynablaster, which was actually first released way back in 1983 by Hudson Soft and then published by Konami, with multiple ports appearing through the years. This latest news however is in relation to this awesome game, as after a period of waiting RGCD have released Bomberland as a free download for the C64!

This latest news however is in relation to that PC version, as after years in the making, Bomberman International Online has been updated to fully support Windows 10!

Through all the years of retro gaming, there is one name that always stands out in the crowd, and that is Bomberman or as it's also called Dynablaster. This incredibly addictive game was originally developed by Hudson Soft in which you move a character around a maze like game screen, collecting power ups and placing bombs to clear obstacles or wiping out enemies. What made the game so challenging is the fact that bombs can also be a hindrance and if placed incorrectly can also kill you and your friends if being played in multiplayer. Such a brilliant game for it's time and every so often we get a clone of Bomberman by different developers and 'Booming Boy' developed for the MSX2 is one such game that certainly is a worthy addition to this retro line up.

In these brilliant arcade classics your goal is to complete each level and reach the exit by strategically placing bombs in order to either kill enemies, your friends or to destroy objects. Power ups can be collected to give yourself the edge, but watch out as not only can other bombs kill you, you can kill yourself!
