Unique and historically important working Psygnosis Amiga 3000 goes up on Ebay

From prototypes to working hardware and games that have been lost and found, there's always something we haven't seen that hits the headlines much to the delight of the retro community. Well thanks to a heads up by Mike Clarke, he us told us he is selling an Amiga 3000 with quite a bit of history. This Amiga 3000 as noted on the Ebay page, is a one of a kind Amiga as used by various artists at Psygnosis and sold by Mike,who also told us he worked at Psygnosis from 1992 to 1999 doing audio and this was one of a number of machines he rescued that had been placed in a corridor ready to be thrown out.

We have never featured an Ebay sale before but when it comes to the C64p we will make an exception. Only just last month we did our big review of the C64p and to much excitement it turned out to be a very impressive bit of kit. Basically a C64DTV based laptop design that was sent to us by The Future Was 8bit, which ended up with us saying I think it's an amazing bit of kit, it's what C64 owners will really like the world over, from new gamers to those that remember the C64 so well. Well today the C64p is now available to buy and so far the bids are soaring and are already at £555 with 8 days still to go! SD2IEC - An SD device for the C64! (Hardware Review)

Only last month we featured possibly the best way to play C64 cassettes in the form of the UCassette. But this time we are moving onto a piece of hardware that comes highly recommended for old disk based games and the latest homebrew titles, and that is the SD2IEC. The SD2IEC is an SD CARD reader for commodore computers that emulates floppy disk drives like the 1541 and 1541-II. Thanks to ScitechSuppliesLTD who has kindly sent us this nifty little product for review, we will be able to delve into the usage of hundreds of classic C64 games without the fuss of the cassette issues all on an SD device!

uCassette - The best tape loader for the C64? (Hardware Review)

Tim from ‘Shareware Plus‘ has kindly sent us over the uCassette to review and this little device has peaked my interest for some time, a device so cool it looks to be a neat addition to the C64/128 community. This piece of kit may be small, fitting in the palm of your hand but don't let that fool you, as for people like you and me who are sick of trying to get tapes working, will find the uCassette to be the next best thing that don't want to delve into the usage of SD cards.

Something completely different on Indie Retro News, a seller on Ebay is selling over 30 years worth of Video Games in his collection. Sure, we've all got our collections, but wait to you read this. The games count is about 6850 pcs, with about 6780 boxed and 70 loose, and are in various formats.
