SD2SNES - Is this the best SD based device for your SNES? [ BIG Hardware Review ]

Throughout the years we have been trying to feature as many SD based devices as we could, for a multitude of systems such as the Amstrad, C64, NES and the even the Sega Mega Drive. It was also thanks to Retro Towers that we were able to do a full review of the Everdrive N8 and even the Mega Everdrive, which enabled us to play thousands of game roms through an SD card based device. But there is one system we haven't yet featured and that's the SNES, at least until now. As thanks again to Retro Towers we have the very latest SD2SNES here for a hardware review.

Everdrive N8 - An SD device for the NES? Oh yes! [ Hardware Review ]

Over the Christmas period we featured RetroTowers SD device for the Megadrive, the 'Mega Everdrive'. A device which allowed you to play thousands of Sega Mega Drive, Genesis, Sega Master System and 32X games through a single cart based SD in your Mega Drive. Well today we are going for the next cart system review, the Everdrive N8 for the NES.

Mega Everdrive - An SD device your SEGA Mega Drive will thank you for! [HARDWARE X-MAS REVIEW]

It wasn't long ago that we featured the SD2IEC for your C64, in which games could be played directly off an SD card without faffing about with loading real original games. Well what if I told you there was a device out there which enables the playing of pretty much every single Sega Mega Drive, Genesis, Sega Master System and 32X game through a single cart based SD in your Mega Drive! Welcome to the Mega Everdrive, a very interesting product sent to us by RetroTowers for review.

SD2IEC - The Future was 8bit in an SD for the C64! ( Hardware Review )

You may remember we did our very first C64 review for the UCassette and then moved onto a lovely SD device, the SD2IEC. Well today thanks to The Future was 8bit we are now going to feature a rather special SD2IEC device which enables you to play games on an SD. Also included is an Epyx Fastload Reloaded cart which improves loading time by many factors that will not only impress but may get C64 users rushing to the buy now button. Thanks to The Future was 8bit who has kindly sent us these great products for review, we will be able to delve into the usage of hundreds of classic C64 games without the fuss of the cassette issues all on an SD device at much faster speeds.

SD2IEC - An SD device for the C64! (Hardware Review)

Only last month we featured possibly the best way to play C64 cassettes in the form of the UCassette. But this time we are moving onto a piece of hardware that comes highly recommended for old disk based games and the latest homebrew titles, and that is the SD2IEC. The SD2IEC is an SD CARD reader for commodore computers that emulates floppy disk drives like the 1541 and 1541-II. Thanks to ScitechSuppliesLTD who has kindly sent us this nifty little product for review, we will be able to delve into the usage of hundreds of classic C64 games without the fuss of the cassette issues all on an SD device!

C64SD V3 PRINCESS - New Sd2iec with tap files support for C64!

Although it's a new area of a retro journey for me as I've recently got hold of a lovely C64C, I was impressed to read of an upcoming device that might just send a tingly sensation down the spines of other C64 owners. A device that according to developers, is from the experience of c64sd v2 INFINITY (by Manosoft) and ITS module (infinity tape sd2iec) (by Hawui1/Manosoft), which emulates both floppy disc and real player datasette's! But there's far more to this bit of kit than meets the eye, so check out the latest preview video and drool!
