Langford Productions has officially released a comprehensive PC remake of the 1983 ZX Spectrum masterpiece, Jetpac, bringing the golden age of Ultimate Play The Game to modern hardware. The premise remains as frantic as ever: The Acme Interstellar Transport Company has one goal: scatter flat‑pack starships across the Galaxy and hope someone brave assembles them. That someone is you — test pilot, courier, and part‑time rocket mechanic. Every planet is a payday. Gems, rare elements, gold… your Jet Pac scoops valuables and rocket parts with ease. Grab the loot, haul it to your launch site, blast off, repeat...Sound easy right? As if!

Chopper Defence v.1.1 - An enjoyable ZX Spectrum game that feels like a JetPac clone!

A bit of a late one for all you retro gamers, as trawling through the itch io website, we've just come across a newly updated ZX Spectrum game developed by PsychicParrot / Tea Monster Games called 'Chopper Defence'. In this rather enjoyable game which almost feels like a fun for all the family JetPac clone, you play as a part of the space defence force and must rescue paratroopers while defeating waves of enemies to progress to the next level!

It was and still is an incredible game that has since mentioned again, but this time as an upcoming port to the Oric thanks to Team Raxiss.

It was and still is an incredible game that has since mentioned again, but this time in what looks like a "modernized" version which is coming to the ZX Spectrum Next as of March 2020.

This game which put you in the boots of Jetman on a mission to rebuild a rocket in order to explore other planets while also defending himself from Aliens with his powerful laser. Was also released as a fan based early work in progress preview shooter by MSCIFU (Mauro Cifuentes) in assembler language on the C64. Although unlike the original game, the C64 fan version was a 2 player shooter, which has since been improved upon in version 3

Jetpac - Unofficial remake of a ZX classic in dev for Sega Mega Drive

We were recently contacted by Sebastian Racedo of a new game that is in development for the Sega Mega Drive which is a remake of the classic Jetpac from the ZX Spectrum but developed by a brotherly team Toki999 and Exkyo from out of Uruguay. This early alpha in dev footage update shows a glimpse of how far the remake has come, and also as a hope that viewers will give their feedback as an incentive to continue for a finished release.
