Deuteros - One of the best Amiga Space Strategy Games (PC UPDATE+FIXED SAVES!)

Game Type : Space Strategy
Games in the Pack :  Deuteros, Millenium 2.2
Launcher Developer :  The Company.pl
Info from our previous article : Designed by Ian Bird and released in 1991. The game is set some 800 years after Millennium, in a time when mankind has won the struggle to make the Earth habitable again but lost its spacefaring capabilities, which it is seeking to regain. This is no ordinary space game and so far there has been no game like it since. In my youth of playing it which was purchased at a local market I spent an entire summer without hardly ever seeing daylight just playing it.  The object of the game is to mine resources, research new tech and to colonize further out into the solar system. You can train new 3 categories of civilians : Producers, Researchers and Marines, out of a pool of 6000 population. The longer these teams are used, they are advanced in three levels, required for some later action (some inventions can be manufactured only by a producer who is at "Expert" level while Pilots with the rank of "Admiral" will be more effective in battles). Don't expect amazing graphics but do expect deep thoughtful gameplay with thousands of drones fighting away at each other as you battle to defend yourself against the Methanoids.  If you decide to give up it's rather satisfying hitting the Self Destruct button, the nuke button oh and you can even chill out with the Music Box which comes later. This is a game NOT to be missed
Release : Available now FREE
Systems : PC

All of these versions (2.6) contain high quality filters for your PC and all you have to do is download, run the exe and press F12 in game for extra settings(filters). The software is based on the original rom file and remastered through an emulator in a single exe.  You may get a Virus Warning through low quality virus checkers, it's a false positive!

You'll be pleased to know that after all these months, The Company.pl have finally fixed the save issue! This is a great fix as without the save, the game was pretty much impossible.
