Let's Go! - Platform runner for the Amstrad CPC in development

It's nice to see the Amstrad CPC getting much needed attention by game developers, as this isn't the first game we've come across this year on the 1980's system. Developed by A Bearded Dragonz Production (Morri) using AGAS and ESD; Let's Go! is a platformer with a difference! A Run and Stop platformer, that forces to the player to hit the space bar to stop him from running into obstacles, which is then limited by time. The longer you hold, the less time you have to complete a level.

That's pretty much what the game is about, it requires precise timing to stop the character and to release him before being squashed or hurt by obstacles in the game. Although limited in levels, I believe there's only one so far on the test I tried, Let's Go! developed with CPC Basic 3 as a clone of the mobile game Relic Rush is most certainly looking like it will be a great game with lovely 8bit detail when it's finally released.  But as for future developments, according to the developer progress has slowed down but he hopes to optimize space save, bug fixes and to figure out level design.

However the down side is he has almost run out of space nearly filling the 64kb so we may have a 128k release instead. For further discussion and beta downloads, make sure to follow the CPCwiki thread!
