We've recently come across a great looking game via our twitter page that is sure to excite many who've ever had a NES or played the classic game of Ninja Gaiden. Titled as 'The Messenger', with development by Sabotage and published by Delover Digital, comes a brand new retro-tastic experience as a classic action platformer unravling into an expansive time-traveling adventure full of thrills, surprises, and humor.
As a demon army besieges his village, a young ninja ventures through a cursed world, to deliver a scroll paramount to his clan’s survival. The game will feature dynamic acrobatic gameplay and ultra tight controls, character upgrades with new abilities, hidden levels and branching paths, high grade 8-bit and 16-bit sprites, animations, and backgrounds in the spirit of the classics, plenty of enemies, and an official soundtrack by renowned chiptune composer Rainbowdragoneyes, handmade using Famitracker.
