Yoomp! Amiga version of Yoomp gets a fabulous tease, coming soon from RGCD

Even more great gaming news now, as we've just been contacted by Solo, that Zbigniew Ross author of Yoomp!64 is not only working on an Amiga port of the game, but as of today a new trailer has been released showing just how cool this game actually looks! Now some of you might remember this title that's because Yoomp! 64 was released last year by RGCD and Psytronik Software on the C64, as a port of the fantastic Atari XE/XL game.

If the game is going to be a port of the original C64 version with crossed over features in both of these Amiga versions if released, then they will feature - gaming mechanics in which you need to bounce a ball through many different three-dimensional textured tubes to collect as many points as you can while trying not to fall off the edge.

Game is planned in three settings:
Low - A500+512 slow ram or A600 with 4 colors palette and smaller tunnel;
Medium - A1200 or A500/A600+512 Fast RAM with 4 colors palette without additional scaling;
High - A1200+512 Fast RAM or A500/A600 at 14Mhz + 512 Fast RAM w 8 colors palette.
But in real game is in EHB mode, so there are 7 or 15 colors (with transparency).

Additional Notes :
Game code is almost finished, just some debugging, cosmetic changes and music are left. Also because additional tile (comparing to C64 version) is added, some new levels are in progress. CD32 version is planned, probably with CD Audio tracks. Graphics could be changed in complete game.

Release Date : Coming Soon from RGCD
