Pretty much all of us remember the movie The Goonies, a movie about a group of young misfits called The Goonies who discover an ancient map and set out on an adventure to find a legendary pirate's long-lost treasure. Well if you remember that classic movie, and the game which appeared on the C64, Atari 8bit and Apple II in 1985, you might be interested in keeping an eye on cmadruga's upcoming game called 'Gooninuff'; a game which is an Intellivision inspiration to that classic movie.
Although it is still early days for this game and plans for a physical release, from what we can see so far in the footage above, Gooninuff certainly looks like a game that will appeal to many when it arrives on the Intellivision. It has lots of well designed screens, a variety of areas, decent animation such as the waterfall, and there's plenty to do as you must avoid or punch enemies, rescue kids trapped in cages, and find the skulls to move on to other levels.
