Another Amiga update for all you, as we've recently been informed by Solo that the upcoming Amiga game known as 'Super Metal Hero', which is being developed by Colin Vella, Tenshu and JMD through Double Sided Games, has got a new teaser video! Yes indeed this game announced by us sometime ago but with a different coder, is a lovely looking side scrolling platformer with Parallax scrolling that is being developed using Blitz Basic.
Although the footage shown is still in a development stage and we are not sure of a release date, already we can see the game has come along way since its first showing, as not only has the team behind the game added armour sprites. But a new powerup mechanism, multiple parallax bands, improved collision detection, optimized scrolling, optimized HUD rendering, curved ramps and colour cycled backgrounds!
