Arkanoid +4 - The Plus/4 gets a great port of a classic game!

If you remember Arkanoid; an arcade game first developed by Taito in 1986, with the bat like device scrolling from side to side at the bottom of the screen, bouncing an orb back and forth and smashing blocks for a high score. Then you'll love this news update! As thanks to Saberman contacting us through Facebook, he has told us that if you head on over to the plus4world you can download a brand new port of Arkanoid for the Commodore Plus/4.

Arkanoid and its sequel were two incredible games and more so for me at least on the C64 with that great loading music that even today has multiple remixes. And on the topic of this version however, you'll pleased to know that not only was it created by Kichy and Csabo, but the gameplay is just as good as the Commodore 64 version, has more colors, and is available to download for free today! So yes if you loved Arkanoid and played it on many of the other 8bit systems out there, you'll love this version on your Plus/4.
