Midora - Gorgeous 90's inspired Action-Adventure game gets a Kickstarter

As you may or may not know I'm a huge fan of Action-Adventure games or RPG's that take me back to the gaming years of the SNES, and Midora from Epic Minds is very much inspired by that era. According to the developer Midora is a love letter to classic 2D Action-Adventure games to the like of Legend of Zelda or Secret of Mana. Featuring beautiful retro inspired graphical detail, 12 unforgiving dungeons, 6 villages and cities, the King's castle,  mountains and forests, swamps, a huge map with colourful characters and plenty of baddies, this is a Kickstarter that you really should be funding. It looks just perfect for a retro inspired action adventure.

You'll also be pleased to know that you are not just limited to one weapon in Midora, as your character "Snow" also has a Wind Fan for cutting at long range, A Vine Whip to push back enemies (and manipulate the environment), and the ability to use magic. There will also be over 200 items available in the final of which some will be created by you, so it just goes to show how much the developers are really keen on developing this game to it's fullest potential.

Epic Minds are hoping for a $60,000 success goal with a PC,Mac & Linux version planned for Summer 2015
