Captain Blood - Weird adventuring in space, Amiga version for the PC

Let's go back to 1988, a time when one of the strangest games was to set the tone for space adventuring, alien communication and finger pointing game play. It just had to be Captain Blood developed by the French company Exxos (ERE informatique), which is once again playable on the PC but from the original Amiga version.

The objective of this odd game beginning on the spaceship bridge of the Ark. Was to track down and destroy five clones of captain blood, which are found through the communication of aliens on different planets using the very odd UPCOM system. Each icon, and there's 150 or so of them gives a different concept in how you deal with talking to the Alien races and gaining information.

You must learn how these icons come across when talking to Aliens as some may be helpful and others may react in a less than pleasant way. What's even more interesting is the ability to hyperspace to other planets, scan planets for defences, destroy planets and teleport aliens that have gained your trust.

A very unique idea for it's time and would still be classed as unique today!

Thanks to The Company.PL you can play the Amiga version on your PC
