As many of you know for some time now we've kept a keen eye on Knights of Bytes rather special in development platformer ' Sam's Journey ' which is coming to the C64. But this time we have been informed by RetroNerd that the developer has shown off the very first prototype of the cartridge that may be the precursor to the commercial product when it's released at some point this year. In fact it isn't just any cartridge but in joining forces with Individual Computers they have created one that not only has the game on it but is also able to save your progress!
According to the creators, it has 4MiBit of Rom for the game and 2 KiB of storage for your save games. So if you have followed all of our previous updates and your thoughts are the same as mine, this game could well be one of the best platformers ever released on the C64.
