After waking up after a rather rough night to say the least, I was hoping for something to put a smile on my face from the gaming scene. Sure enough directly from Knights of Bytes, they have finally announced the feature list for the incredible looking C64 game that is currently in development ' Sam's Journey ', of which we have featured as soon as it was first mentioned. Not just that, but the developer Chester Kollschen and team under the label Knights of Bytes is also looking for your financial support via his Patreon page.
This could be game of the year right here folks, as not only is it one of the best looking C64 games we've come across for many years, but the game with a cute little hero called Sam who finds himself on an unexpected journey in a strange world is going to be packed with features. Features such as great graphics, fast directional scrolling, many moves including climbing and swimming, 6 costumes to pick up giving additional skills, 3 overworld maps, 27 huge levels with multiple sections, 2000 screens to be explored, 14 different graphical settings, 19 beautiful tunes, sound effects, hidden rooms and items, check points and the all important save game option.
Sound good? Because to us it sure does! Coming 2016!
