Dune - Amiga adventure based on Frank Herbert's science fiction, for PC and Mac!

If, like me, racing games are just not your cup of tea, either because you're just no good at them or find them tedious, then how about playing another of Gamenostalgia's Amiga to PC and MAC playable releases, ' Dune '. Now don't get too excited this isn't the mind blowing RTS version Dune II that was released in 1992 but the rather addictive adventure strategy game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name!

This game was also developed by Cyro Interactive and published by Virgin Interactive, and puts you in control of Paul Atreides, as he tries his utmost to force the menacing Harkonnen off the Planet 'Dune'. This was done through spice extraction, military means and a lot of conversation! As for me, half the time I had no clue what I was doing ( I didn't read the instructions ) and never completed the game! Still though, it was nice to play, nice to look at and thanks to Gamesnostalgia, you can play the Amiga version packaged with FS-UAE, on a PC or MAC!

Info from Wiki :

Released for the Amiga and IBM compatibles, it was one of the first floppy games to be converted to CD format, which included footage of the David Lynch movie, voice-acting for all speaking roles, and highly improved, 3D-rendered traveling and location screens. This version (a mix of the Amiga graphics and the extras of the PC-CD version) was also released on Sega's Sega CD console.

- All Amiga games come pre-configured with FS-UAE and may contain rom files, so we will not host these files here.
