I've always been amazed how far we've come in computer games, and how graphically impressive they are to almost life like situations instead of how they looked all those years ago. One such video which was shown in 2015, gave us a look into the evolution of Formula 1 racing games, from 1976 all the way up to 2015. Impressive indeed, but one that stood out for me, is the excellent Amiga racer ' Grand Prix ' by Microprose, which for its time was rather eye opening.
To be honest I was never a fan of racing games, always heading towards the latest rpg or shoot em up, but what I did enjoy the most was smashing into other cars or going the other way just to check out my latest carnage replay. Something I did a lot in Grand Prix and the great Indy 500 on the Amiga.
