Castlevania 30th anniversary NES facelift patch by KYA gets another improvement!

Glorious Thursday news as we've just been told that Kya199 has announced that the Castlevania 30th anniversary facelift patch which celebrates the original games release since 1986, graphically overhauling the classic NES game, has been improved even further with a HDPack! This pack updates the NES version of the game with Konami-authored graphics as well as graphics taken from the third generation of Castlevania for mobile phones.

According to the creator of this fine facelift patch, some of the graphics come from the game called Vampire Killer for MSX to honour that great game which started it all for him 30 years ago in 1988. However unlike the previous version we mentioned as a hacked Nestopia, this release is for the Mesen NES emulator by Sour, which allowed him not just to replace the graphics but also the music of the game with limitation usage to the latest Mesen emulator (0.9.5 and up).
