In 2013 Bit Kid announced that their gorgeous game of Chasm had a Kickstarter success with over $152,000 pledged and was due to be released in May for PS4/Vita and PC. However that time had passed and the developers today announced the correct release date of July 31st for this incredible looking game that contains procedurally generated dungeons, loot drops, treasures, deadly enemies and tons of secrets to keep you busy!
In this game you play as a new recruit undertaking your first mission for the Guildean Kingdom. Thrilled to prove your worth as a knight, you track strange rumours that a mine vital to the Kingdom has been shut down. But all is not as it seems as the townspeople have disappeared, kidnapped by supernatural creatures emerging from the depths, so it is down to you to solve the mystery and battle deadly creatures through ancient catacombs even castles!
Though the overall story is the same for all players, your hero's journey will be unique: each of the rooms has been hand-designed, and behind the scenes Chasm stitches these rooms together into a one-of-a-kind world map that will be your own.
