Although many of us stick to real hardware, unofficial gaming packages from the likes of GamesNostalgia or TheCompany.PL, or a quick load up through software such as FS-UAE and WinUAE. There's still a rather large fan base who prefer using the Cloanto Emulation packages such as Amiga Forever and C64 Forever. These packages as noted by Cloanto for the Amiga version "blend high-quality software and original content with the ultimate set of videos to chronicle and let you experience first hand the history, culture, challenges and passion behind the Amiga."
So why are we mentioning Amiga Forever and C64 Forever? Well there's a very good reason! As from the 31st December 2018 just gone, they announced Amiga Forever and C64 Forever 8; a brand new version to the official Commodore/Amiga preservation, emulation and support suites for Windows through the result of 18 months of development since previous major versions.
