The ZX Spectrum is doing very well so far, as not only do we have Melkhior's Mansion (Atic Atac Remake ) coming to the PC and ZX Spectrum next, but we also have some fabulous art work from the ZX Spectrum shown on the C64 as a nod to that famous system. Now unlike the unreleased remake, there has been some much better news for the ZX, as today ZX DEV 2015 has announced the release of Pat Morita's 'The Last Ninja Ninjakul 2'; a ZX Spectrum platformer homage to System 3's classic isometric game ' The Last Ninja '.
When we first came across this game we believed the game to be a demake of the Last Ninja series, but over time it had gone away from that and instead became more of a Last Ninja nod, and more like other classic games such as GG Shinobi 1 & 2 and the Ninja Gaiden saga. Still don't let that put you off in any way, as The Last Ninja Ninjakul 2 is a fabulous game indeed. It features 5 stages and a prologue, epic platformer action, 4 power ups, multiple difficulty levels, more than 8 awesome tunes, and much much more!
* The game will be for free from 2019/03/01 but if you can't wait you can play it for only 1€ and help to finance a first physical edition in cartridge format (dandanator or similar)
