FlashFloppy - The BIG 1.0 release of a FREE and OPEN Gotek firmware!

The Commodore Amiga Facebook community is one of the best places on the internet whereby users around the world can come together and share anything and everything they want related to the Amiga and have fun doing so. But as is the case with this group, there's always one such member who stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to helpful advice or software to push the Amiga community forward. And so this week Keir Fraser has announced the first BIG 1.0 release update of his FREE and OPEN Gotek firmware, which will not only read and write ADF and HFE images, but as of today no manual disk swapping at all with a new auto swap feature!

Yes indeed one of the highlights of the Amiga Community for those of you using Goteks and no longer have a working Floppy drive or just want to play Amiga games off a USB memory stick will be very pleased with this latest update. As not only does it support a new auto-swap disk feature for currently supported games such as Beneath a Steel Sky, Indiana Jones, The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2, but there's a new OLED Display sib-option, direct support for HDM image files and finally small fixes to the Amiga file selector!
