Castle Defender - A fabulous tower defense Atari 8bit game shown at the Abbuc software contest.

Train 2 wasn't the only game shown off at the Abbuc software contest this month, as searching through the relevant forums, we've come across a rather eye opening defender game called ' Castle Defender ' developed by MatoSimi. Now this game was originally a BBC Micro title, but MatoSimi in light of the competition, has converted the game over so others at some point can be play this castle defense style game on their Atari XL/XE.

Featuring a lovely 43 colors 160x240 pixels titlescreen by Piesiu, Castle Defender is your typical castle defense game, in which you need to stop enemies through the use of defences before they reach your main castle. The game features high quality graphics, a brilliant title screen, a top notch soundtrack, multiple enemy types such as skeletons and wizards, and finally different zones to play through...... So yes one to look out for when it's released!
