It's time to move away from all the retro games we've mentioned this week, as if you're looking for a new Adventure game set with a dark overtone, then it be worth your time checking out Cosmic Void's Kickstarter success of "The Corruption Within": A new Indie game as a psychological thriller first-person point & click adventure game set in the Victorian era, that mixes realism with surrealism, which compliments the atmosphere of the game
According to the description not only are there puzzles in the game, with artwork that has detailed low-res pixels using a custom-made colour palette, but the emphasis will be on strong story-telling as the mansion and its inhabitants hide mysteries that must be uncovered before rescuing your children will become possible... Please note if you are squeamish the game contains horror themes, pixelated violence, and other mature themes such as poisoning and imagery of the dead.
