Arkanoid Back to Basic - An Arkanoid game that was developed entirely in Basic for the ZX Spectrum

If you remember Arkanoid; an arcade game first developed by Taito in 1986, with the bat like device scrolling from side to side at the bottom of the screen, bouncing an orb back and forth and smashing blocks for a high score. Then you might be interested to know that IgnaCobo has released Arkanoid Back to Basic; an Arkanoid game that was developed entirely in Basic for the ZX Spectrum Concurso BASIC 2022 competition.

In this new game for the ZX Spectrum 48k, not only do you have to guide the shovel-shaped ship through 17 phases, but you have to bounce a ball from your shovel to destroy all the bricks in the level while not losing a life as your ball falls below the screen. Do note however the game is limited in sound and music as the game was developed in Basic for the 48k. So no fancy stuff going on here folks!
