Another Amstrad news story has hit our inbox, as XeNoMoRPH was kind enough to let us know through our email today, that if you're looking for a new Arcade racer for your Amstrad CPC, then you might like check out Antero Martinez's latest game of ' Panda Raid Classic Cars '; A game that was not only developed using basic but it only has 7 kb of program plus 3 of graphics. To coincide with this news both Saberman and XeNoMoRPH sent us a gameplay video for you to watch as a first look at the game.

Here is what XeNoMoRPH says about the game... The classic car race begins and so late, the great 10 km straight is full of participants who hope to finish the 5 stages and win. We have to finish the race before night falls, at the hands of our Seat Panda we have to dodge the participants and obstacles along the way to get to the city on time and have a few beers with our friends before they leave. We must go through the check flags to get extra time if we want to successfully finish the race! Speed doesn't influence the race as our cars are slow and we don't care, only our skill will be useful in this race. We will wait for you at the finish line to have a beer.

  1. This looks awful! what are the sprites meant to be? certainly not cars or things. This looks like a bad Atari 2600 game.

  2. it's really a mini-game, programmed in basic language, occupying 3kb graphics, you can't really achieve many things.
