Tenebra 2 - An atmospheric puzzle game for the C64 and Plus4 arrives on the Amiga!

A very early morning heads up for all the retro gamers out there, as we've recently been contacted by Saberman in our inbox, that the atmospheric game of Tenebra by Haplo, which was originally released in 2021 for the C64 and Plus/4, and then the Amiga early 2023, has now got an official Commodore Amiga sequel of  'Tenebra 2'! To coincide with this news, not only can you download the game right now, but at some point today Saberman will also do a gameplay video too.

Tenebra 2 also comes in two flavours; the classic 8-bit looks (non-interlaced) and the enhanced looks (interlaced). A1200 or better is recommended for the enhanced looks.

Tenebra is an atmospheric puzzle game with rogue-like elements. Guide the hapless protagonist to the exit, but also keep in mind that he is afraid of darkness and refuses to walk in the dark areas. The first game in the series which is still available to play, contained 25 levels and works on both the Amiga, C64 and Plus/4. For those of you who want to know if the first game was any good which is the reason I'm excited to play this game later today. People gave the first game in the series feedback such as "Really nice game Haplo. Great work!" and "I couldn't stop playing!. It's completely to my taste. Thank you!"

  2. It’s a nice puzzle game. Even by today’s standards. I was feeling bored and decided to try out some new games for older machines. However, I’m currently stuck on level 26. It’s not the best game, but the puzzles are fair and there’s a nice learning curve.

  4. Last night I completed first Tenebra and tonight I am going to beat the second one. I like it, it is like a Sokoban in Rogue settings.
