PC DOS game Death Rally as an Amiga port by BSzili reaches version 1.0

BSzili has been mentioned a number of times on Indie Retro News, as not only did he release the Amiga port of BLOOD and Exhumed, but even just recently he made available the work in progress port of Dark Forces! Well here we are with another BSzili news story, as just recently I was informed by Saberman, that a new 1.0 version has been released of the Amiga port of Death Rally; a top down racing game originally developed by Remedy. A game in which you have to race for the finish line, leaving a trail of burnt rubber and spent brass behind you.

Here is what was said in regards to this game and system requirements : Enter the corrupt racing world of Death Rally, where defensive driving means annihilating your opponents. You'll become ravenous for the power and glory that comes with being the best at Death Rally, but first you must pay your dues. Put the pedal to the metal and smash, blast, and obliterate the competition, to earn the chance to face the undefeated master, "The Adversary". Make deals with loan sharks and mob bosses to get the cash you need to build the ultimate battle racing machine. Remember, no trick is too dirty, no spectator too innocent, in your savage quest for the checkered flag.

  1. The grand grandfather of Control.

  2. Looks great 👍

  3. BSzili for President! Please keep up porting for our beloved machine! Thank u so much!

  4. Why are the requirements so high? The game looks like a prettier version of Skidmarks, which runs on much lower spec machines

    1. Its mostly realtime rendered 3d in this game whereas skidmarks is all just prerendered sprites and backgrounds.

  5. Becouse, it's only conversion from Pc, it works with 486dx cpu and 68060 it's has the same power.

  6. Will it work with TheA500 Mini?
