Chaluul's Curse - A C64 port of a PC adventure game released by Sönke Wolfgramm

We've mentioned lots of text adventure games on Indie Retro News, from games such as Venganza and Spooky Adventure, to Knight Orc and Masquerade. But now another game has appeared which will appeal to gamers who like those sort of games, as we've been told by Saberman, that Sönke Wolfgramm has made available through Itch io the text adventure game of Chaluul's Curse. A game in which the creator says is "a C64 port of a PC adventure that was on the cover CD of issue 11/95 of the German computer games magazine "PC Spiel".

Here is what the website says about Chaluul's Curse. "Howard Carter, archaeologist and hobby detective, is asked for help by an old friend. It's about the secret of an ancient sword of the Knights Templar, which is said to have a fatal curse on it. In chapter 1 of "Chaluul's Curse", Carter tries to unravel the mystery of the sword! The idea, graphics and texts come from Mathias Neumann aka TIKWA, the creator of Ziggy, the Space-Rat. The C64 version was created by Sönke Wolfgramm using the D42 Adventure System by Stephan Lesch and Tobias Erbsland" .
