We have just found out through Saberman that there has been a new release of a game called 'Kazik in the Underworld of Tema'. Although details are sparse about the game, all we can tell is not only does it look like Roland on the Ropes, but it seems to be an enhanced version of a game known as KAZIK AND THE GHOSTS. A game which was released for the COMMODORE 16 and PLUS/4 in 1986. Although I was unsure what to write up about this one, thankfully the video provided by Saberman made the game worth writing up.
According to the NFO provided for the game which is based on "Proxima" by Krzysztof Borun and Andrzej Trepka's book. Playing as the explorer Kazik, you must traverse dangerous abandoned places, while avoiding creepy ghosts and collecting treasure. Roland on the Ropes was an Amstrad conversion of Fred by Quicksilva, released on the Spectrum 48K & C64. Played them on both and it was a pretty solid playable game.
