The Plus/4 World website has surprised us with yet another new recovery! As they have informed the Plus/4 Facebook page, that the 1985 Interplay Productions RPG has been recovered for the Commodore Plus/4 by Csory and Siz. As in the words of the website. "Today, we put a period at the end of a very long story. We were talking about missing this release as far back as 2002, and many times after that. The good news: thanks to Csory and siz, we now have a working version of Bard's Tale"
And here's the details from the Facebook page. "34 years ! 34 years passed since we had our copies of πππ«π'π¬ πππ₯π ‐ πππ₯ππ¬ π¨π ππ‘π ππ§π€π§π¨π°π§ being present but not working, due to bad spreading which didn't include the copy protection installed by the author. So, in 2025, straight from the preserved archive of ππ¬π¨π«π², here comes the working .G64 files! And this, completes the whole series of four! Now you can fully play the game! Thanks guys, mooore to cooome!"
