Umi Bombs - An entertaining single screen game for the C64 by KabutoCoder

Fancy playing a game that people have given feedback such as "very addictive, it retains the essence of old-school gaming" and "Great fun! Good controls, simple but very colourful, attractive graphics in a classic style", then come and check out KabutoCoder's single screen Commodore 64 game called 'Umi Bombs'. A game in which you play as Umi and must defuse bombs across the city that have been planted by the evil Emperor of Darkness. If this sounds like your sort of game, make sure to check out the latest footage and game info provided below.

Here's the latest. "Take control of Umi and her Jet Pack, who must save the city from destruction. The mayor of the city has received a warning from the "Emperor of Darkness", who has threatened to blow up the city if the $1 million ransom is not paid. He has planted numerous bombs in some of the city's buildings, and you must fly around to collect the bombs and defuse them with the "Explosive Container" located on top of the buildings. You can only collect one bomb at a time, so once you've defused one, you can collect another. Each building has eight bombs planted, and you have 60 seconds to clear the screen. The city is also occupied by a variety of enemies, such as airplanes, helicopters, balloons, and UFOs, which you must avoid at all costs".

    2. yes, author deleted gamemaker repository from itch.io and all youtube tutorials, only leave short video in which he describes health problems mainly due to too many questions about the gamemaker... it's a bit weird.
