If you're at home and looking for a scary game that fits right in with Halloween, come and check out Red Zebra's ZX Spectrum game called 'Xenomaze'. A first person maze game, that will have you aiming for the exit as quick as possible, before you become food for the monster that is hunting you down. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a video that has already received feedback such as "too scary, I'm not playing".
Here's the latest from the developer. "Xenomaze is inspired by the classic game "3D Monster Maze" and a certain sci-fi movie franchise. A major difference from the original game is that the monster only moves when you do. You also have a motion scanner to detect where it is relative to you (when in range)."
- It's designed to run on 48K Spectrums but has AY sound effects if enabled (this is automatic if 128K is detected).
- The game is a rough test of some experimental features added to the Wycheweald/Hafoc Tor engine.
- Like those games, you can adjust speed settings for overclocked machines.

Crazy good looking! Never had real ZX Spectrum but loving it!
