Fancy playing a charming little platformer that's fun for all ages, then it might be worth downloading Donut80's new game for the Commodore 64 called 'Egg Fued'. A Jumpman Junior, Bounty Bob Strikes Back, and Lode Runner inspired game, whereby you need to collect all the eggs while avoiding the nasty foxes. To coincide with this news, the developer has posted about the game from our Facebook group, and Saberman has provided a gameplay video.
Here's the latest. "I’m excited to finally share the first Donut 80 game for the C64, Egg Feud! This project is inspired by platformers I grew up with - like Jumpman Junior, Bounty Bob Strikes Back, and Lode Runner. Those games had a special charm: simple goals, tight challenges, and lots of replay value. I wanted to capture that same feeling while adding modern precision to the controls. In Egg Feud, your mission is straightforward: collect all the eggs on each level while avoiding the foxes. It’s quick to pick up, perfect for coffee-break sessions, and designed for highscore chasing.
Features:
- - Classic gameplay
- - Modern, tight controls
- - Highscore table
- - PAL and NTSC compatible
- - Free download

What a year for the C64 games scene with Ola Zandelin returning to his 8-bit roots and creating Musketeer and Sherwood - real high quality platform adventures.
