Brutal Pico Race - Another Pico-8 game comes over to the Amiga via BSzili [WIP]

Following on from our previous PICO-8 news story, as BSzili has began porting the rather enjoyable PICO-8 futurist racing game, Brutal Pico Race, over to the Commodore Amiga. Following the positive feedback of his previous fantasy console conversion, the space shooter Zepton, the talented coder has once again bridged the gap between modern retro restrictions and classic 16-bit hardware. Originally created by yourykiki, this adrenaline-fueled, split-screen racer pushes the classic Amiga chipset to its limits with high-speed pseudo-3D visuals and raw arcade gameplay. The release adds yet another impressive trophy to BSzili's growing portfolio of high-quality Amiga demakes and ports.

Brutal Pico Race is a fast and raw futurist racing game that was originally released on the Pico8 by Damien Hostin. Choose one ship out of three class, choose a track and try to finish first. You can also challenge a friend, alone or with AI, in split-screen mode. Do be aware however that as the game is still in development, there is likely to be bugs or missing features including no sound.
