Fix-It Felix Jr is coming to the ZX Spectrum Next and it looks really good! [VIDEO UPDATE]

The animated film Wreck-It Ralph remains a classic, famously cantering on a bunch of characters from a fictional 1980s arcade machine. Over the years, fans brought that imaginary game to life across various platforms, including mobile devices, online browsers, the Commodore Amiga, and even via a homebrew Sega Genesis port. Now, this pixelated favorite is making headlines on IndieRetroNews once again. Steven Day recently reached out to share some exciting news for ZX Spectrum NEXT owners: following its success within the Commodore 64 community, this brilliant, arcade-style title is officially headed to the ZX Spectrum NEXT in the very near future.

Furthermore it doesn't just feature high quality gameplay befitting of a commercial title as a conversion from the Commodore 64 hit, but there's a legendry team behind it such as Antonio Savona, Steven Day and Saul Cross(Music). While we don't know any further development details, I have been told the game will be free via itch io with an option to donate to charity... So watch this space ;)

UPDATE : A high quality video has been uploaded with the following being said by Steven Day "Game complete, cutscenes complete, voices complete. Game has now had all its graphics sounds and music physically stuffed in every available orifice, despite Tony screaming about ram banks and huge graphics and is now with the testers. we shall now see if it works as advertised"
