It feels like only yesterday that we announced that the Amiga classics Ruff 'N' Tumble and Superfrog had received unofficial PC modernizations, complete with widescreen support, high-resolution details, all the while running at a smooth 50fps+.Well, fast forward to today, and thanks to an early heads-up, we’ve learned that Almost There Games is overhauling yet another pair of classics. Binary Asylum's acclaimed 1990s Amiga 3D shoot 'em ups, Zeewolf and ZeeWolf 2: Wild Justice. A pair of games that had received positive feedback such as "One of the Amiga's most interesting shooters. Looking a lot like Virus, it delivers an engaging and challenging shoot-em-up which in places is tremendously exciting and varied"
The unofficial PC release of the Wolf Duology revives Binary Asylum’s 1994 cult-classic ZeeWolf and its 1995 sequel, ZeeWolf 2: Wild Justice, bringing 64 intense missions to modern systems. Players pilot a prototype gunship through varied, hostile environments, utilizing a mix of combat, rescue, and transport tactics to secure victory across land, sea, and air. This comprehensive upgrade features enhanced widescreen, high-resolution 3D graphics with modern lighting, while offering a classic mode for pure nostalgia alongside updated analog controller support and quality-of-life additions.
