Sam's Journey - Knights of Bytes latest platforming C64 update!

Of all the games to be keeping an eye on as an upcoming release, just has to be the jaw dropping platformer of Sam's Journey, developed by Knights of Bytes for the C64. We've been featuring this game non stop ever since that April day when others claimed it was all an April fools as it looked just too good. How wrong they were, as today yet again we have another update, and this time Sam is trapped in an underground passage and the only way to get out, is a rather unusual usage of a special switch!

Shardlight - The next adventure hit from Wadjet Eye Games?

Wadjet Eye Games, the Studio behind the brilliant adventure games Golden Wake and The Blackwell Series are once again going to release what looks to be another fine point and click adventure game titled "Shardlight". This latest adventure release looks to be of very high quality as you play as Amy and with the help of a mysterious figure to work to unite the oppressed, bring down the Caligula and find a cure for the plague.

Heaven Variant - A rather impressive Shoot Em Up

Heaven Variant is being made by Zanrai Interactive which is a 3 man indie dev team. It is a non bullet shell shoot'em up. Its game play is a homage to 3D shooters during the PSX and Saturn era, especially Einhander and Thunder force. The player will be able to transform between  a Jet and Mecha to access different fire modes.

FESTER MUDD: CURSE OF THE GOLD - 2D Adventure Comedy

If you enjoyed old Adventure titles that were either Sierra or Lucasarts, then you will love this game. Mage's Initiation - Adventure from the creators of the kings quest remakes ( DEMO UPDATE )

This fantastic retro looking adventure title, Mage's Initiation, has just had a demo update! Creators of the Quest for Glory and the King's Quest remakes, these guys have put a lot of heart into this game and they have always been known to cause Sierra fans to start drooling at the mouth. Mage's Initiation was on Kickstarter ( which we featured ) and was met with a great reception from the fans, and it was a huge success raising over $90,274! METAL SLUG X - Arcade Platformer (Android)

The classic hit platformer Metal Slug X is now available for the Android. This is a truly great game and not to be missed if you are a fan of platformers with style. Metal Slug X and it's prequels are well known in the gaming community, going back to the days of the Neo Geo system.
