Foxtail - Furry fantastic adventure aims for crowd funding

Years ago in the 90's, there was an incredible furry like adventure game called 'Inherit the Earth', which was released for specific platforms such as the Amiga, Mac OS and DOS. It featured anthropomorphic animals (Furries) with a great storyline, lovely fantasy detail and characters with their own personalities. So it came as no surprise to us after our previous feature of 'Foxtail' by Gingertips, that their gorgeous pixelated adventure of similar design became a Steam Greenlight success in just 9 days with over 300 comments and subscribers! However the news isn't just of their success, but a new Indiegogo crowd funding campaign that they hope will raise €60,000 EUR in just 30days!

Many of you may remember a very classic adventure title called 'Inherit the Earth', which was released way back in 1994 for platforms such as the Amiga, Mac OS and DOS. It featured anthropomorphic animals (Furries) with a great storyline, lovely fantasy detail and characters with their own personalities. But today's feature of 'Foxtail' by Gingertips is very similar in design, has lovely pixelated graphics and is also aiming for a Steam Greenlight success for PC, MAC and Linux.

Inherit the Earth: Sand and Shadows - A new Inherit adventure from the original creators!

I could not believe the news today as I was only just recently thinking to myself about that golden adventure game that had you playing as "Furries" in a adventure game like no other. And that game was Inherit the Earth: Quest for the ORB, a multi-platform adventure that made a popular appearance on the Amiga & PC. It was just a shame it never got the official recognition it truly deserved (I for one loved it). But the good news today is, thanks to Tom Turrittin who has a soft spot for Inherit, he has informed me that the original creators Wyrmkeep Entertainment have announced through Kickstarter, Inherit the Earth: Sand and Shadows, a sequel to the original!
